Turn your Long Island home into the brightest on the block. Our residential Christmas & holiday light installation covers every detail — rooflines, gutters, eaves, columns, trees, shrubs, and walkways — using commercial-grade LED lights that stay brilliant through wind, rain, and snow. We design a layout that fits your home's architecture, install it safely, and take it all down when the season ends so you never touch a ladder. And it isn't only Christmas: the same crew lights homes for Halloween, Diwali, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and New Year's, so one call covers the whole season from October through January.

Why Choose Long Island Premier Holiday Lights for Residential Christmas & Holiday Light Installation in Suffolk County
Holidays we light
Christmas is the big one, but the same roofline, the same clips, and the same crew cover the whole season. Tell us which holidays matter in your house and we'll plan the color changes and the calendar around them.
Halloween
Orange and purple roofline runs, green or purple tree wraps, and lit walkways so trick-or-treaters can find the door. Many families book Halloween and Christmas together: the clips go up once and we swap the strands in November.
Diwali
Warm white or gold rooflines, lit railings and columns, and string-light canopies over the entry and patio for the celebration. Long Island's Diwali homes — Hicksville, Jericho, New Hyde Park, Syosset, and across Suffolk — are some of our first installs of the season, and those strands can stay up straight through New Year's.
Thanksgiving
The weekend after Thanksgiving is the busiest install window of the year. Book by mid-October if you want your lights up before guests arrive; amber, warm white, and wrapped bare trees photograph beautifully against a November sky.
Hanukkah
Blue and white rooflines, wrapped trees and shrubs, and lit menorah displays for the front lawn. Homes in the Five Towns, Great Neck, Plainview, Commack, and Dix Hills often combine a blue-and-white front with warm white on the rest of the house.
Christmas
Roofline, gutters, peaks, columns, windows, wreaths, garland, wrapped trees, and pathway lights — the full display, in warm white, classic multicolor, red and white, or any palette you pick on the design visit. Timers run the lights dusk to midnight from install day through New Year's.
New Year's Eve
The display stays lit through the first week of January. If you're hosting, we can add a cool-white or color-changing accent for the night and pull it with the rest of the takedown.
Good to know about residential christmas & holiday light installation in Suffolk County
What we actually put on the house
Custom-cut C9 or C7 LED bulbs along every roofline, gutter, and peak so the spacing is identical corner to corner; mini-light wraps on trunks and branches of the trees worth lighting; net or mini lights on shrubs and hedges; lit wreaths and garland on doors, windows, railings, and columns; and low-voltage pathway lights along the walk and driveway. Everything is commercial-grade and rated for salt air, wind, and snow — the box-store strand that dies in the first nor'easter isn't something we carry.
Colors and styles
Warm white is the most-requested look on Long Island — classic, and it suits brick, shingle, and vinyl alike. Cool white reads crisper on modern homes. Red and white, red and green, and full multicolor are the traditional choices; blue and white for Hanukkah; orange and purple for Halloween; gold for Diwali. We'll show you samples on the design visit and can mix palettes — a warm white house with a multicolor tree, for example.
How the season runs
Installs start in early October for Halloween and Diwali and run straight through mid-December. The lights run on a timer from dusk until about midnight. If anything goes dark, you call and we come back at no charge. Takedown is scheduled in January around the weather, and if you choose storage, your strands are tested, labeled, and boxed so next year's install is a rehang, not a redesign.
What it costs
Price depends on roofline footage, how many trees and shrubs we wrap, and how much decor you add — not on which town you live in. A typical Long Island single-family home lands in a range that includes install, all lights and hardware, in-season service, and January takedown. The number is agreed on the free design visit and doesn't move after you say yes.
See it before it goes up
Not sure what you want, or can't be home for a visit? Our designer can pull photos of your house, mock up the display right on them, and quote it from there. You see the roofline, the wrapped trees, and the colors on your own home before you commit — and you can change anything before install day.
