Christmas & Holiday Lighting Across Nassau County

Nassau County packs an unusual range of housing into a small footprint, and holiday lighting has to follow the architecture. On the North Shore, the Gold Coast villages — Sands Point, Old Westbury, Lattingtown, Locust Valley — are long driveways, mature specimen trees, and estate rooflines that call for tree wraps and wide-spaced warm-white runs. Along the South Shore, from the Five Towns through Long Beach, Oceanside, Merrick, and the Massapequas, homes sit on canals and bay fronts where salt air and open wind decide what hardware survives to January. In the middle — Garden City, Mineola, Hicksville, Levittown, East Meadow, Plainview — are the Capes, splits, Colonials, and Tudors that fill most Nassau streets and light up block by block every December.

Our Nassau office is at 57 Old Country Rd, Suite 4, in Westbury — a few minutes from the Meadowbrook and Northern State, which is how our crews reach Great Neck, Long Beach, and Massapequa in roughly the same drive time. Being based mid-county means no Nassau install is more than about 25 minutes from the shop, so same-week service calls and January takedown are routine, not a special trip. Call the Nassau line at 516-271-3109 and you reach the team that will actually be on your roof.

How We Cover Nassau County

Nassau County isn't one kind of place, so we don't design one kind of display. Here's how the county breaks down from our Westbury office.

North Shore & Gold Coast

Estate properties, mature trees, and long driveways from Great Neck and Port Washington through Roslyn, Sea Cliff, and Oyster Bay. Tree wraps, column wraps, and low-glare warm white are the standard here.

South Shore & the Five Towns

Bay-front and canal-front homes from Inwood and Hewlett through Long Beach, Oceanside, Freeport, Merrick, and the Massapequas. Salt air and open wind mean marine-rated clips and sealed connections.

Central Nassau

The Capes, splits, Colonials, and Tudors of Garden City, Mineola, Hicksville, Levittown, East Meadow, Plainview, and Bethpage — the neighborhoods closest to our Westbury shop.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your Nassau County office?
57 Old Country Rd, Suite 4, Westbury, NY 11590 — mid-county, just off the Meadowbrook and Northern State parkways. The Nassau phone line is 516-271-3109. We also have a Suffolk office in Commack that handles everything east of the county line.
Do you install lights on Gold Coast estates and larger North Shore properties?
Yes — estate work is a big part of our Nassau season. Long driveways, specimen trees, gatehouses, and multi-wing rooflines in Sands Point, Old Westbury, Lattingtown, Muttontown, and Locust Valley are designed on site with a firm quote before anything goes up. We size the crew and the timer/circuit plan to the property, not the other way around.
My house is on a canal or the bay on the South Shore. Will the lights hold up?
That's exactly what we plan for. Waterfront homes in Long Beach, Island Park, Oceanside, Freeport, Merrick, and Massapequa get sealed connections, corrosion-resistant clips, and wind-rated attachment on exposed eaves. We've had South Shore displays run through nor'easters without a strand going dark.
How early do Nassau install dates fill up?
Central Nassau — Garden City, Levittown, Hicksville, East Meadow — books earliest because of the density of homes. Most families want lights up the weekend after Thanksgiving; to get that window, book by mid-October. Installs start in late October.
Do you handle HOA and village rules?
Several Nassau villages have lighting and timer guidelines (Garden City, Rockville Centre, and some Gold Coast villages, for example). We install with timers set to reasonable hours and use non-invasive clips that leave no marks, which satisfies every village code we've encountered. If your HOA has specifics, send them over and we'll design to them.
What does a typical Nassau County residential install cost?
It depends on roofline footage, how many trees or shrubs get wrapped, and whether you want wreaths, garland, or pathway lighting. A compact Cape in Levittown and a waterfront Colonial in Merrick are very different jobs. Every quote is free, on-site, and firm before we schedule — no surprises.
Do you take the lights down in January?
Yes, takedown is included, and we time Nassau removals around the weather so no one is on an icy roof. Optional climate-controlled storage means your lights are labeled, tested, and ready for reinstall next season.
Do you light storefronts and commercial properties in Nassau?
Yes — restaurants, plazas, and office buildings on corridors like Old Country Road, Jericho Turnpike, Sunrise Highway, and Franklin Avenue. We install around your business hours and confirm power and load before the first strand goes up.
